LIVE PERFORMANCE
Psilocybin Music is a project straight from the heart. I have always been fascinated by psychedelics and the role music plays in the psychedelic experience. I saw an opportunity to go beyond psychedelic playlists and offer a more profound, bespoke audio experience designed to support positive, healing outcomes. The idea for Psilocybin Sound Therapy was born.
On discovering the Copenhagen Music Program (CMP), I knew I'd found the framework my music needed. CMP identifies psychological themes encountered during specific phases of the psilocybin experience and matches them to musical styles and tempos. Combining my skills as a writer and music producer, I created an all-encompassing audio experience - from preparatory meditation through ascent, peak, and descent phases, before ending with a guided integration.
During a live performance, I re-interpret the Psilocybin Music soundscapes, meeting the needs of the traveller as they shift through the phases of their experience. Combining live performance with loops, nature sounds, and specific healing frequencies, the music signposts your inward journey, providing a much supportive framework. Working via Zoom, the performance is streamed live to your clinic, retreat setting, or home, offering a unique one-off experience. Meditation Music Producer, Writer and Audio Guide
More than a playlist. A unique live experience.
Recorded in January 2026, "Ascent Phase Live" provides a snapshot of the full Psilocybin Live Experience. Starting with birdsong, the soundscapes build, shimmer and shift, the gradual increase in intensity matching the onset phase of a psychedelic experience.
Drew says: "I knew from experience the uncertainty that accompanies the onset of psychedelics. Inevitably, there can be doubts and fears... as well as anticipation and nervous energy. I wanted this music to provide a sense of comfort and to lead the listener inward. Ultimately, the music should encourage self-exploration. The deeper the experience, the greater the reward."
Ascent Phase was recorded at 432HZ, a tuning known to support deep calm and well-being. The composition matches the emotional needs of the Ascent Phase of a psychedelic experience.
